PHARMASUTRA 23.03.07

-proving that pharmacists can indeed 'do it better' Over-The-Counter'
-on our list were
* crown & anchor [630]
* ballroom [730]
*shotz [830]
*mansions [1030]

-with drinks ranging from as low as $3 [coopers pale ale] you'd bet it was bottoms up that night!
-the whole night was packed with as many as 200+ ppl signing up

-it was certainly cool to see everyone wearing the pubcrawl shirts [which was very cool-looking btw. mine's in the wash, 'll post a pic soon]

Quote of the night:
sheng yee:
"this is why we stay sober, to watch our classmates get drunk and provide us with free entertainment"
(of course it was an alcohol-induced night, so forgive me if that wasn't the exact phrase, but the meaning's the same)

-was hungry after all that alcohol, me, poh lee and yi wen dragged our tired asses to hungry jacks for a late night supper

coyote ugly
[damn tasty. sorta like an alcoholic slurpee]

haha, what was left of it

hey hey, you you! i don't like your girlfriend....

as much as i like to diss and criticize to death at avril's latest musical attempt... i do have a confession to make....

I ABSOLUTELY heart this song
  1. internet's here!!!! and functioning 100% 40gb man!!!
  2. MCBT mcq test on thursday
  3. dr. michael ward's gotta be my fav lecturer at the moment, he's so damn organized and precise. makes studying for his subject so much easier (although i hope i still feel that way after my test. and yeah did i mention there's negative marking too?)
  4. had my hospital placement last wednesday (all i can say is that it has made me more determined to be in the industrial field)
  5. first SAPSA pub crawl! can't help but be excited!!! (in case my parents are reading this: nope, i won't get drunk. i don't even know what THAT is) :P
  6. think autumn's finally approaching, no more scorching 40 deg weather! but oh yeah, that means no more short skirts and thongs :(
  7. i have a beginning of what i'd probably diagnose as a 'sore throat' so me gonna make some honey now and sip :)
  8. btw, did i mean that adelaide's state library absolutely rocks????!!!! it offers free internet connection (high speed) and you can borrow 30 items! which includes magazines, dvds, books etc :) i absolutely heart it!
*as you can see from above, the weather's making me a lil' overexcited what with all the 'i <3' @ 'i heart' so, i'm just gonna sign off now!

muaks ppl~

scheduling a 15% weightage test within the first 2 weeks of uni is definitely not my idea of a proper introduction!!! well, at least my oral examiner, Michael Sorich was great! my session was barely over in 5 minutes! and yeah, i didn't even have to summarise, it was more like a Q&A session. so yeah, i guess you can say i was pretty lucky. my written summary could have been better i suppose, it was certainly not my usualy writing style i'm used to (comprising of full sentences with lots and lots of fancy words). We were limited to only 100 words.. sigh. and guess what?! i forgotten to hand in my written sheet AND my article as i left. thank god ryan noticed and man, did i run...

oh, and there was this guy (think he's in my placement group) who didn't know he had to do a written summary first. he went straight to the oral session. gosh.. thank god it wasn't me. i guess, 2 years in SIT wasn't all bad. i have great support around me, making sure i know things i was supposed to know and making me do things i was supposed to do. :) thanks guys~

anyway, this has already been my 6th week in adelaide. so far everything's been lovely (don't know why but this word seemed the best to describe adelaide) having a blast with my 3 housemates, i reckon we can make it through 2 years. well, as long as i behave myself :P been spending quite a lot, mostly due to the need of formal clothing ( my PBL tutor says we have to) bills, books, food etc...

'm applying for a working visa today, hopefully can start earning my own dough. then i won't feel so guilty about spending my dad's hard-earned cash. and yeah, hehe i need autumn clothes :P

btw, mum's sending a parcel over soon containing my textbooks, safety glasses, suncreen, pen... any suggestions as to what else i need?

haha, just realised i haven't blogged a full entry in a while. i apologise for the overwhelming amount of photos, but haven't you heard: "a picture's worth a thousand words"? :P

p.s: still no sign of my internet arriving. sigh.

bye guys~ :P
