*although fresh off our mid-semester break, we [the very poor, stressed out students: yi wen, poh lee, daniel, jason and me] decided we needed a break.
*Midvalley was our chosen destination,and we set off at about 12.45pm.
*it was a smooth drive with a few ocassional bumper-to-bumper hiccups, we arrived at about 1.30pm.
*then! the hard part came: finding a parking!
*it's as though everyone was taking a day off and hanging out in midvalley!
*round and round we went.... still no parking!
*finally, when our rumbling/grumbling stomaches could take no more... i did my first 'very' illegal parking at the side of the driveway.
*after countless reassurance by jason, daniel and yi wen that my car wouldn't be clamped, i relented and off we went to shut our noisy tummies up :)

*Got home finally at about 1am and practically passed out in the bathroom during my shower... after driving the whole day..sigh, some well deserved sleep :)

*btw, that signifies that i've been un-virginised in the kl-driving category. hip-hip- hooray!!! [oklar for you skeptics, i know midvalley's hardly kl, but cut the girl some slack would ya?!]

*But that wasn't the end of my weekend, feeling confident enough to venture out on my own, i decided to meet up with an old friend of mine back in my taylor's days [bluek, i sound soooooo old!] my dear gal, hsu lin :) it was great catching up with her, it has been more than a year since we last met. thank god, we didn't outgrow each other.

*ps: i'm sitting here eating my much-missed 1901 'new york chicken hotdog' and 'crispy pohpiah' while typing this out :)
